So I have a problem, when I go to Sims4 the mod screen appears and it shows everything I downloaded under 'non-script' mods, but none of them actually appear in the game and I am really confused, I've googled a lot but found nothing.I put everything in right folder, (Sims in Tray/Makeup/hair etc.
Mods) in and I do have Resource.cfgAll files that I have are.package, so I just put them in the folder. And Yes I made sure I clicked on Script mods in game. I'm out of ideas.
This might be a dumb question, but you do have 'Enable Custom Content and Mods' checked off too, right? The selection right above 'Script Mods Allowed' in your Game Options?Another thing to note is that, for some reason, The Sims 4 doesn't allow many sub-folders in the Mods folder. If you are used to organizing them with sub-folders (like for example: Mods Hair NameOfCustomHairWhichIsAlsoInAFolder CustomHair.package), the.package file will not show in the game. You have to either put the.package file directly in the Mods folder without any sub-folders in-between them, or you need to search online for the method that some people use to subdivide their stuff. I don't remember exactly what it's called, since I don't use it (opting, instead, for the lazy, disorganized choice.).
It all started with the major update earlier in the year where the game disabled all mods. I go onto the game and it comes up with the standard dialogue 'Mods have been disabled' 'EA does not support Mods' 're-enable mods through the options', so I go to options, re-enable mods, apply the changes, restart the game, but when I load up to the main menu it comes up with the same dialogue and automatically disables mods again? It's been doing this for months now.The laptop I have is a MSi Gaming laptop, NVDIA GTX950M, i7 Intel core etc. So I'm sure it's nothing to do with the computer itself. But I actually have no idea what to do?
